Voting Information

All NCSU local school boards will use Australian ballots for all voting in 2021, including budgets, articles and elections. There will not be floor votes. All NCSU school boards will hold a virtual informational budget meeting within 10 days of March 2nd, as required by statute.

Steps for joining one of our Virtual Informational Budget Meetings

Voter Registration:

To register to vote or to check your voter registration status, please visit the Vermont Secretary of State My Voter Page or contact your town clerk. Please see the individual school pages for links to your town website.


Absentee ballot:

To obtain an absentee ballot, please contact your town clerk.

When to vote:

Polls will be open on March 2nd at each town polling place for in-person Australian Ballot voting.

School Board Elections

If you would like to run for a seat on the school board, you must file a Consent of Candidate form with your town clerk by January 25, 2021 for your name to be placed on the Australian ballot. There will not be voting from the floor for any NCSU school districts in 2021.
